Bottling

Autoctona provides complete bottling services dedicated to the wine sector, for both still wines and traditional method sparkling wines. The main services include filling and corking, labeling and packaging—available either as separate stages or as a complete, all-in-one bottling solution—as well as tirage and disgorging for traditional method sparkling wines. Each operation is scheduled according to the client’s operational needs and production volumes.

Autoctona uses modern and reliable bottling lines designed to operate with high standards of hygiene, safety, and control. The small- and medium-sized machines are intended for wineries that want to optimize timing while fully preserving quality standards. Average production rates are 1,000–2,000 bottles per hour for still wines and approximately 400 bottles per hour for disgorging services.

Standard utilities are required, primarily electricity and water. Any specific requirements are assessed in advance during the planning phase to ensure efficient organization and to avoid unforeseen issues.

Autoctona does not sell bottling materials. Clients are free to choose their own suppliers, while Autoctona adapts its equipment to the selected materials. During the planning phase, all materials are jointly reviewed and verified with the client by the technical staff to confirm their suitability for processing.

No, it is not mandatory. With maximum flexibility in mind, Autoctona can operate with complete teams or integrate into the client’s workforce, in full compliance with operational and safety procedures

Our philosophy is that each client’s wine must be treated with the utmost respect; for this reason, our organization and equipment are designed to operate directly inside the client’s winery. In cases of specific needs or a genuine lack of suitable space, Autoctona is also equipped to provide the service in a mobile, truck-based format, while maintaining the same quality standards.

Under standard conditions, the bottling service is scheduled and carried out on average within 30 days from confirmation of the job and verification of the availability of wine, materials, and documentation. Timelines take into account the technical and quality checks required before starting operations. Urgent requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

The required documentation is straightforward and largely prepared and pre-filled by Autoctona. Signed quotations and subcontracting agreements are required, along with any documentation related to specific certifications and the documents required by workplace safety regulations. Clients are supported at every stage to ensure clarity and efficiency.
